Two Days, One Purpose:

Advancing Equity in Chronic Illness and Autoimmune Care

ROCK Wellness Weekend brings together two major events, the ROCK Summit and the ROCK the Block Community Health & Resource Expo, creating a direct path from insight to action.

  • Friday is for learning, strategy, and collaboration.
  • Saturday is for community, screenings, movement, and support.

This weekend closes the gap between research and real life. Between systems and neighborhoods. Between what we know and what communities actually need.

Why This Weekend Matters

Autoimmune disease, long COVID, and chronic illness affect BIPOC communities at higher rates, yet diagnosis, access, and culturally informed care remain inconsistent.
The weekend tackles these inequities from both sides:

Friday: Understanding and fixing the systems
Saturday: Delivering resources and prevention to the neighborhoods that need them most

This is how you move health equity from discussion to action.

Functional Fitness Workouts: Engage in functional fitness sessions that mimic daily movements to enhance your overall physical abilities and improve your quality of life.

Group Movement Challenges: Fun and inclusive group challenges organized to promote teamwork, motivation, and a sense of community among participants.

Biking Adventures: Explore the scenic countryside on two wheels with biking adventures. The area's rolling hills, charming villages, and peaceful roads provide an excellent setting for leisurely bike rides.

Restorative Movement: Experience sessions focusing on restorative movement, which involves gentle exercises that aim to relax and rejuvenate the body.

Mobility and Stretching Classes: Mobility exercises and stretching sessions can help improve joint range of motion, reduce stiffness, and promote better body flexibility.

Hiking and Nature Walks: Lace up your shoes and venture out on the picturesque hiking trails surrounding La Goose au Bouzigaud. Enjoy the fresh air and connect with nature as you explore the beautiful landscapes

Your support expands screenings, tools, and education for families who are consistently left out of preventive care. Sponsorship also positions your organization as a champion for equity, culturally responsive care, and community health.
