Ready to Lead in Autoimmune Care, But Barriers Are in the Way?

If you’re a health or wellness practitioner who wants to support clients with autoimmune conditions, but advanced training feels financially out of reach, you’re not alone. The AIP Certified Coach BIPOC & Impact Scholarships were created for that exact reason.

This scholarship doesn’t just help you access a powerful certification. It helps you bring real tools to the people who need them most, especially in communities where autoimmune care is often overlooked, underfunded, or inaccessible.

What You’ll Gain

The scholarship covers partial or full tuition for the AIP Certified Coach Practitioner Training Program, a structured 8-week course that teaches:

  • The science behind the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP)
  • How to support clients through nutrition, lifestyle, and behavior change
  • How to apply AIP safely and ethically in a real-world practice
  • How to coach clients with complex, chronic conditions
  • Trauma-informed, culturally responsive care

You’ll finish the program with skills you can use right away, in whatever setting you work, clinical, coaching, community, or group-based wellness.

Who the Scholarships Are For

There are two tracks, both focused on equity, representation, and access.

BIPOC Scholarship

For self-identified BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) practitioners who are:

  • Already working to reduce health disparities, or
  • Intentionally planning to serve BIPOC clients with autoimmune disease

Impact Scholarship

Open to any practitioner, BIPOC or not, who:

  • Faces financial hardship, and/or
  • Works in an underserved community with limited access to autoimmune care

This is for professionals who are doing the work and need support getting trained to do more.

Scholarship Awards

Scholarships are awarded twice per year, and may be used for one of the next two available enrollment periods. Each cycle includes:

  • 2 full tuition awards (100%)
  • 3 half tuition awards (50%)
  • 5 partial tuition awards (25%)

You must already hold a license or certification that allows you to work with clients or patients directly. (This is not a beginner program.)

Why It Exists

This scholarship launched in 2020 as a BIPOC-specific offering, in response to community calls for better access and representation in autoimmune wellness spaces. Since then, over $35,000 in scholarships have been awarded.

In 2025, it expanded into two tracks to better reflect the needs of both BIPOC practitioners and others in high-barrier environments.

This program is built on one belief: you deserve access to the tools that help your community heal, regardless of background, zip code, or budget.

What is AIP?
The Autoimmune Protocol (AIP) is a framework that uses nutrition and lifestyle changes to reduce inflammation and support people living with autoimmune disease.

Do I have to be BIPOC to apply?
No. The Impact Scholarship is open to anyone who meets the financial or service-related criteria. The BIPOC track is for self-identified BIPOC applicants only.

Is this training recognized?
Yes. The AIP Certified Coach program is taught by leaders in the field, has trained hundreds of practitioners globally, and offers CEUs through select organizations.

How long is the program?
8 weeks, online. You can complete it from anywhere in the world.
